I have been using John’s services for the last number of years. I get a monthly “preventative maintenance” as I like to call it. It has kept me injury free and allows me to train both harder and more consistently. I usually work out 4-5 times per week. Without John’s services I doubt I could do this consistently.

I Have known John Prendergast since 2004 when, in his capacity as a Physical Therapist, he successfully treated a long recurring Achilles heel injury. John’s slow methodical treatment not only cured the injury then, but it has never reoccurred. Following that John has been a weekly visitor to our home where he puts my Wife and I through our paces with our bespoke, challenging and interesting training programs. The reward is he then gives the best sports massage which you are ever likely to experience. To be able to avail of John’s skills and expertise is beneficial in its self, but to be able to avail of it in your own home is truly wonderful.

I’ve known John Prendergast for over 10 years and have no doubt that the ongoing treatments have improved my performances and kept me virtually injury free. I used to compete in middle distances (800 and 1500 metres) and as a visually impaired athlete have represented Ireland at 4 European and 2 World Championships. Training 6 or sometimes 7 days a week is a big burden and if you aren’t recovered from the previous days session, the risk of injury is all the greater. As well as keeping some ‘problem’ muscles under control I find that treatments are preventative, are relaxing, re-align muscle fibres that get torn apart through training and generally allow my body to recover more quickly.
At 46 I’ve now left middle distances behind and do more road races. I’m planning my fourth marathon and have also completed two triathlons this year. Once again and especially as one gets older, recovery is important and regular treatments have helped, touch wood, keep me injury free and I would recommend them to anyone involved in sports.
